Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 20, 2026 | Application: Sentinel Pro
KronoSoftwares operates under a strict "Zero-Data Collection" policy for Sentinel Pro. This Privacy Policy outlines the transparent, local processing of hardware and sensor data on your device.
1. Passive Listening and Permission Architecture
Sentinel Pro functions strictly through reactive, system-level callbacks as an offline security monitor. The application requests access to sensitive hardware permissions exclusively for proactive defensive security:
- Camera (CameraManager.AvailabilityCallback): Monitors the real-time active state of the camera hardware against background access by third-party packages. Sentinel Pro lacks any interface, encoding, or storage capabilities to capture or record video.
- Microphone (AudioRecordingCallback): Detects the deployment of audio recording sessions by the operating system. The application does not request the
RECORD_AUDIOpermission and is technically incapable of capturing, processing, or streaming voice data. - Location/GPS (AppOpsManager.OnOpActiveChangedListener): An Ultimate Gold Premium feature that flags when geographic location providers are queried in the background by other apps. Sentinel Pro does not track, store, or read your geographic coordinates.
2. Foreground Service Infrastructure
To guarantee uninterrupted, system-wide protection and mitigate sensor threats with sub-50ms latency (Zero-Latency Monitoring), Sentinel Pro runs a persistent foreground service declared under Android 14+ specific types (camera, microphone, location). A persistent notification is displayed to maintain absolute user transparency.
android.permission.INTERNET). All security audit logs, license validation states, and active process trees are strictly isolated within the app's local device sandbox. No data is ever uploaded, transmitted, sold, or shared with external servers or third parties.
